Responsibilities & Requirements
- Attend production/creative meetings.
- Research topics and guests as assigned.
- Learn/Train to create and/or edit scripts using Octopus software.
- Learn/Train/Know the information and task workflow for a daily or weekly program.
- Assist in confirming dressing and makeup rooms are ready for incoming guests.
- Print and distribute scripts/paperwork.
- Liaison with other departments as assigned.
- Assist with travel and accommodation arrangements for talent/guests.
- Assist talent and crew members as needed during productions.
- Run errands as needed.
- Excellent organizational and multi-tasking ability.
- Computer savvy.
- A team player with great communication skills.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Able to work flexible hours and schedules.
- In process of acquiring degree in film studies, cinematography, or related field.
- Specific interest in News and/or program producing.
Part Time, Seasonal, $7.25/hr.+ depending on experience, open to Sophomores, Juniors, Seniors, actively enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in television, film, media studies or related fields with a 3.0 GPA or higher. It is also available to Alumni with a degree in the same fields.
