WASHINGTON, DC (July 30, 2020) — TBN is set to air a major two-part music special, entitled The Truth I’m Standing On, in partnership with the Museum of the Bible in Washington, DC. The concert event features high-profile Christian recording artists sharing songs about healing during the difficult times facing America and the world.
Part one is set to air on TBN Friday, July 31, at 8, 9, 10 and 11 pm ET, with part two airing the following week, Friday, August 7, at 8, 9, 10 and 11 pm ET. The concert may also be watched via TBN’s Facebook live stream and via the TBN mobile app.
Award-winning contemporary Christian artist and songwriter Matthew West, who will host the broadcast from Museum of the Bible, noted the important role of faith in times of turmoil. “As our world continues to be engulfed in chaos, sickness, tension, and uncertainty, people are desperate for a firm foundation they can stand on,” he said. “The Scriptures point the way for all of us to find that solid foundation in God’s promises, and the Museum of the Bible powerfully displays the truth that God’s word has stood the test of time and served as a guiding light in our darkest days. I hope these performances will flood your heart with hope and remind you of the truth we all can stand on.”
Among the Christian artists performing for the event are Leanna Crawford, for KING & COUNTRY, Newsboys, Matt Maher, Danny Gokey, Mandisa, Zach Williams, CeCe Winans, and Christine D’Clario.
“Healing and community are more important now than ever before,” said Harry Hargrave, CEO of Museum of the Bible. “We are proud to partner with TBN to bring comfort, hope, and joy to people around the nation and around the world.”
