LOS ANGELES, May 10, 2021 — TBN, has announced a new lineup of fresh programming premiering in May. Beginning Friday, May 14, at 8 p.m. Eastern / 7 p.m. Central, Cody Crouch, grandson of TBN founders Paul and Jan Crouch, makes his hosting debut with This Month in Christian History, a new monthly series focusing on saints, athletes, missionaries, and others who did extraordinary things in the corresponding month throughout history.
“The rollout of new programming represents TBN’s continuing commitment to produce and air faith content that is informative, engaging, and relevant to a wide range of viewers,” said Matt Crouch, chairman of TBN. Crouch said that he is particularly thrilled with the premiere of Cody’s new monthly series: “While Cody has been involved in nearly every aspect of TBN production for a long time, the debut of This Month in Christian History represents the first official introduction many TBN viewers will have of the Crouch family’s third generation leadership in Christian television. On Thursday, May 27, starting at 9 p.m. Eastern / 8 p.m. Central, TBN will air a special block of programming beginning with Drive Thru History: Holy Land. The exclusive TBN Holy Land series walks viewers through the ancient world of the Bible, giving a fast-paced encounter with the people, places, and events that have shaped our world and the Christian faith. The series includes on-location explorations with lots of animations and fun narration for the whole family. From the Patriarchs of the Old Testament to the events in Jerusalem during the life of Christ, Drive Thru History: Holy Land will give great insight into the history and culture behind the stories of Scripture.
