TBN Presents: October 7, 2023, a four-part documentary series featuring Award-Winning Israeli American Filmmaker Dan Gordon
On October 7, 2023, Hamas launched an unprecedented and unprovoked surprise attack on the State of Israel. Roughly 3000 terrorists crossed the Israeli border at dawn and viciously massacred an estimated 1200 people including women, children, the elderly, handicapped, and Israeli security forces. Approximately 5000 others were wounded and over 250 hostages were captured and taken back to the Gaza Strip that day. It was considered the worst loss of life since Israel’s founding in 1948 and the deadliest attack on Jews since the Holocaust.
The events of October 7 shocked and horrified the world; a massive security failure that no one could foresee. Hundreds of Hamas militants dropped down from the sky on hang gliders, burst through border fencing, and stormed past Israeli defense soldiers who found themselves outnumbered. They killed without abandon. Babies were slaughtered, entire families were burned alive, and women and young girls were violently assaulted. The atrocities that day were unimaginable, and, in turn, Israel launched a counterattack to eliminate Hamas and retrieve the hundreds of hostages that were taken, resulting in the current Israel-Hamas war. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has reiterated his steadfast commitment to complete victory in the region.

What Should We Expect to See?
The series will bring firsthand accounts and reenactments of the events that took place that dreadful day. We will learn intimate details about some of those who perished, from the youngest nine-month-old infant to the oldest 90-year-old Holocaust survivor.
Gordon will discuss the complete failure of the senior levels of the Israeli military and intelligence establishments, while highlighting the heroism, courage, resilience, and unwavering faith of Israel’s citizens who stepped into the gap to support their fellow neighbors, allowing Israel’s military to regroup and recover.
The series examines the misconceptions and outright lies that have been accepted as truth, both within the United States and around the world, as people shockingly stand in solidarity with the terrorists.
The series concludes with the glimmer of hope that lies ahead once Hamas is eliminated as both a military and governing entity, what that means for Israel, and why it’s unlikely there will be a two-state solution.
