Remember Adam and Eve?
When they ate from the forbidden tree, they were naked and afraid. When God came into the garden He said: “Adam, where are you?” Oftentimes, our Shepherd does the same with us. When we’ve fallen away, God never stops asking: “Where are you?”
In this video, Christine Caine illustrates how to reconnect with God’s Spirit when loneliness and fear strike our soul. In this chaotic world, it’s easy to recognize what we lack instead of what we have.
Psalm 23:1-3 says: “The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul.”
David wrote Psalm 23 as an intimate depiction of God as our caretaker. Our Shepherd makes us lie down in green pastures to nourish us: spiritually, mentally, and emotionally. Our human nature tends to run at a million miles an hour, but God just wants us to rest in Him.
Are you ready to experience God’s love by letting Him nourish your soul?
Christine reminds us that, “People are not our shepherd, experiences are not our shepherd, and careers are not our shepherd.” Therefore, do not let the lies of the enemy overtake you. For God is greater, and His purpose for you is bigger than anything you can create for yourself!
